Bridges over rushing creeks and the cool forest makes this trail a delight even on a very hot day. This trail can be used to access Dove Hill\/Elk Cut-Off, Doukhobor Waterline, Brilliant Overlook, and McPhee Creek trails.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"paragraph_style_4\">Note to Cyclists<\/h3>\n<p class=\"paragraph_style_4\">Bike travel on the section of Skattebo Reach from the Brilliant Park and Pool beside highway 3A to the substation is not recommended. This section is quite rugged and steep with some fragile trail surfaces.\u00a0 Starting from the Brilliant Terminal station east of the Castlegar Golf Club and travelling to Glade is recommended. Please be courteous and give right-of-way to foot traffic.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h1 class=\"paragraph_style\">Skattebo Reach Access<\/h1>\n<h2 class=\"paragraph_style_1\">Access from the Brilliant Park and Pool:<\/h2>\n<p class=\"paragraph_style_2\"><span class=\"style_1\">\u2022<\/span>Leave Castlegar heading towards Nelson on Hwy 3A<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_style_2\"><span class=\"style_1\">\u2022<\/span>Just before the Brilliant bridge, turn left on Rosedale Road<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_style_2\"><span class=\"style_1\">\u2022<\/span>The Brilliant Park and Pool is the immediate right bordering the Highway<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hikers may wish to start from here.
