Castlegar Bike Park
What started as a construction site in Millennium Park has grown into one of the area’s favourite places to ride. The Castlegar Bike Park is a free, community-built facility where riders of every age and ability can build skills, session jumps, and have fun close to home — and it’s been part of the local riding scene for years now.
What you’ll find
The park is built around progression, so there’s something for you whether you’re rolling your first pump-track lap or dialing in bigger jumps:
- Pump track — a looping circuit of rollers and berms you ride without pedaling; a great place for kids and new riders to build bike control.
- Dirt jump lines — progressive sets of jumps from small and mellow to more advanced, so you can step up as your confidence grows.
- Flow trail — a smooth, bermed run that rewards rhythm and good line choice.
- Technical skills zone — features for practicing balance and control before you take those skills out to the trails.
Who it’s for
Everyone. Families, first-timers, kids learning to ride, and experienced riders looking to session — the progressive design means every level has somewhere to start and something to work toward.
Where it is
The bike park is in Millennium Park.
Ride smart
It’s a shared space, so a few basics keep it fun for everyone: wear a helmet, look before you drop in, wait your turn, and ride within your limits. Pack out what you bring in, and report any damage so we can keep the features in good shape.
Help keep it rolling
The bike park is built and maintained by Castlegar Parks and Trails Society volunteers and supporters. If you love riding here, consider becoming a member or making a donation — it goes straight toward maintaining and improving the park and trails. Spot something that needs fixing? Let us know.
